Responsibilities
We are currently engaged in a direct hire (not a contract position) search for one of our clients.  We are seeking a highly motivated, results oriented Pharmaceutical Sales Professional to manage a Newark, NJ territory. This position will be calling on a select group selling a line of hematology products.  This is an excellent opportunity for any experienced pharmaceutical sales representative seeking a new position.  Any experience in the hematology arena and calling on hospitals/institutions would be great but not essential. All experienced pharmaceutical sales representatives who apply will be seriously considered for this position. 
 
The primary responsibility of this position will be development and management of a designated territory with the goal of maximizing sales. This role is responsible for identifying and developing business relationships with targeted physicians and Health Care providers while:
  • Achieving quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Identifying key influencers and achieving designated call expectations with a focus on top target customers.
  • Delivering product presentations to customers in territory outlining products, features, benefits and services.
  • Understanding and addressing both business and scientific oriented needs of healthcare professionals by engaging in meaningful dialog to determine underlying patient needs and determine how products could address such needs.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 or more years of successful Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Must have Hospital/Institutional sales experience

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Hematology sales experience
  • Managed Care experience
